Al-Anam
وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ قَتۡلَ أَوۡلَٰدِهِمۡ شُرَكَآؤُهُمۡ لِيُرۡدُوهُمۡ وَلِيَلۡبِسُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ دِينَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُونَ
137And similarly the false deities of the idolaters have made the killing of their children fair-seeming to them to lead them to their own destruction and to cause confusion and doubt in their religion. And if Allah had willed, they would not have done so. Hence leave them alone along with their fabrications.
