Al-Anfal
وَإِذۡ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحۡدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيۡنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمۡ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيۡرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوۡكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
7And (remember) when Allah promised the Muslims that one of the two groups (army or caravan) should be yours. You wished that the unarmed (the caravan) should be yours, but Allah willed that He may prove the (real) truth by His Words and also cut the roots of the disbelievers.
