Al-Araf

وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُمَمٗاۖ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنۡهُمۡ دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَبَلَوۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ وَٱلسَّيِّ‍َٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

And We broke them into various communities in the land. Some of them were righteous and others were not. We tested them with good time and bad time in order that they might return (to Allah’s obedience).
