Al-Baqarah

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَآ أَلۡفَيۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ لَايَعۡقِلُونَ شَيۡ‍ٔٗا وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ

       And when it is said to them: “Follow what Allah has revealed.” They say: “We shall rather follow what our forefathers did.” (Would they follow their forefathers blindly) even though their forefathers did not understand anything and had no guidance?
