Al-Baqarah
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ فِيهِۛ هُدٗى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
2This Book (the Quran) has no doubt in it. (That the Quran is from Allah. But if a person doubts due to his ignorance, the fact is not changed). It is a guidance for pious persons
2The reason for descending the verse
It is reported by Mujahid who said, “Four verses from the beginning of this surah were revealed about the believers, and two verses after these four were revealed about the disbelievers, and thirteen verses after these last two were revealed about the hypocrites.” (Al-Wahidi,Reasons of Revelation)
