Al-Baqarah
وَإِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ
49(Here are the details of Allah’s favours). And (remember) when We rescued you from Firaun’s people, who inflicted upon you a terrible torment, killing your sons while letting your ladies live. That was a big trial for you from Allah
