About the Surah

       And (remember) when We took promise (in Taurat) from the Children of Israel, stating, don’t worship anybody except Allah (Alone), and be respectful to your parents, and to relatives, and to orphans and to the needy persons and say good things to the people, and establish Salat and pay the poor their due (Zakat). Then you turned away (from this) with the exception of few of you and you are backsliders (from the promises).
