Al-Furqan
قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِي لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ وَلَٰكِن مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَسُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بُورٗا
18They will say: “Glorified You are! It was not befitting for us to make protectors beside You, but You gave them and their forefathers luxuries till they forgot the reminder and actually they were the people who deserved the destruction.”
