Al-Hadid
ٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٞ وَلَهۡوٞ وَزِينَةٞ وَتَفَاخُرُۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَتَكَاثُرٞ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰلِ وَٱلۡأَوۡلَٰدِۖ كَمَثَلِ غَيۡثٍ أَعۡجَبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصۡفَرّٗا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَٰمٗاۖ وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞ وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَٰنٞۚ وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡغُرُورِ
20Bear in mind that the life of this world is only play and fun, and (apparent) pomp and show, and mutual boasting among you (in power, beauty and worldly skills) and (rivalry) in abundance of wealth and (number of) children. Its example is like vegetation after rain which looks very pleasing to farmers, then it becomes dry and you see it turn yellow and then it breaks into tiny particles. (There are two things in the Hereafter). There is severe torment (for the disbelievers) and there is forgiveness and the Good Pleasure of Allah (for the believers). And the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment.
