Al-Maidah
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَسَۡٔلُواْ عَنۡ أَشۡيَآءَ إِن تُبۡدَ لَكُمۡ تَسُؤۡكُمۡ وَإِن تَسَۡٔلُواْ عَنۡهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ تُبۡدَ لَكُمۡ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهَاۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٞ
101O you who believe! “Don’t ask about things, which if made known to you, you will dislike them. And if you ask about such things during the revelation of the Quran, these will be made apparent to you. Allah has forgiven the previous questioning. And Allah is Very-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
