Al-Maidah
ذَٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتُواْ بِٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهَآ أَوۡ يَخَافُوٓاْ أَن تُرَدَّ أَيۡمَٰنُۢ بَعۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡۗ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسۡمَعُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
108In this way it is more likely that the testimony of later witnesses will be in its true shape, or they may fear that their oaths will be refuted (and it will harm them since other oaths will be admitted) after their oaths. And fear Allah and listen (with obedience to Allah). And Allah does not guide the disobedient people.
