Al-Mulk
وَأَسِرُّواْ قَوۡلَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱجۡهَرُواْ بِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
13And whether you talk secretly or openly, Allah is, indeed, All-Knower of what is in your breasts.
13The reason for descending the verse
Ibn ‘Abbas reported, “This was revealed about the idolaters who used to slander the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w). Jibril(a.s) informed him about what they said about him and the things with which they slandered him. Some of them used to say to others, ‘Lower your voices lest Muhammad’s Allah hears you.’”(Al-Wahidi,Reasons of Revelation)
