Al-Munafiqun
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
1[O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] When the hypocrites come to you, they say: “We bear witness that you are, indeed, the Messenger of Allah.” Allah knows that you are, indeed, His messenger (this statement of the hypocrites is not denied). And (in spite of this) Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are definitely lying (in making this statement since they are just verbally uttering it without any sincerity from their hearts).
