Al-Qasas
وَلَٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَا قُرُونٗا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيٗا فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ تَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ
45And We created many genera-tions [after Musa ( ) ] and long ages passed over them. And [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] you never resided among the people of Madyan reciting Our Verses to them. But We kept sending messengers. (Similarly, We have sent you as a messenger).
