Al-Qasas
قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عِندِيٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ أَهۡلَكَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مَنۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُ قُوَّةٗ وَأَكۡثَرُ جَمۡعٗاۚ وَلَا يُسَۡٔلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
78Qarun said: “This has been given to me only due to the knowledge I pos-sess.” Did he not know that Allah had destroyed communities before him, which were stronger than him in power and much greater in riches and the criminals are not questioned about their sins (they will be punished without any accountability process).
