Ale-Imran
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَٰحِشَةً أَوۡ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ ذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرُواْ لِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَن يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَلَمۡ يُصِرُّواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُواْ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ
135And if they happen to do an indecent act or have committed a sin, they engage in the remembrance of Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins. And none can forgive sins except Allah. They (the pious people) don’t persist in (or repeat) what (wrong) they have done, while they know.
