An-Nahl
ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ فَأَلۡقَوُاْ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِن سُوٓءِۢۚ بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
28“Those who do wrong to themselves (i.e. make partners with Allah) when the angels cause them to die, then they (the disbelievers) submit (falsely) saying: “We did not do any evil.” (The angels will reply): “Yes! (You did). Indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do. (Also Surah Al-An'am:23)
