An-Nahl
أَوۡ يَأۡخُذَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفٖ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٌ
47Or that He may catch them by causing fear in them (e.g. by famine, loss of wealth, health etc)? Your Creator is, indeed, full of Kindness, Most Merciful (postpones the punishment so that they have chance to repent).
