An-Nahl
تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
63By Allah, We sent Our mes-sengers to various communities before you [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!], so Satan made their evil deeds attractive to them. Hence, Satan is their friend now (i.e. Here in this world or in the Hereafter), and there is painful torment for them.
