An-Nisa’
فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمۡ وَكُفۡرِهِم بَِٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقّٖ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ قُلُوبُنَا غُلۡفُۢۚ بَلۡ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهَا بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَلَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا
155(This punishment was) be-cause of their breaking the promise and of their rejecting the revela-tions of Allah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their claiming: “Our hearts have covering (to protect them from the teachings of the messengers).” In fact, Allah has put a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief. Hence they do not believe except a little. (And partial belief is not acceptable to Allah).
