An-Nisa’
وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ إِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا ٱلۡمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَٰكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُۚ مَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ إِلَّا ٱتِّبَاعَ ٱلظَّنِّۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينَۢا
157And because of their (boastful) claim: “We killed the Messiah [Isa ()], the son of Maryam, and the messenger of Allah.” But they did not kill him, nor crucified him, it only appeared so to them (Allah put the resemblance of Isa () on another person and Jews killed this person). And, indeed, those who differ about Isa () have many doubts about it. They don’t have any knowledge or proof about it. Their thinking is based on mere conjecture; and they did not kill Isa (), for sure.
