An-Nisa’
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ وَلَا تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَقَّۚ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ أَلۡقَىٰهَآ إِلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ وَرُوحٞ مِّنۡهُۖ فََٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۖ وَلَا تَقُولُواْ ثَلَٰثَةٌۚ ٱنتَهُواْ خَيۡرٗا لَّكُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا ٱللَّهُ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۖ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞۘ لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلٗا
171O People of the Scripture! Don’t exceed limits in your religion nor say anything concerning Allah except the truth. The Messiah [Isa ()], son of Maryam, was a messenger of Allah and (was created by) His Word (Be) which was conveyed to Maryam and (he was created by) spirit from Him [i.e. through the blowing of Jibrael ()] towards Maryam. Hence believe in Allah and His messenger. Don’t say: “Three (trinity)!” Quit! (saying so), it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is only One God, glorified is He above having a son. All in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Allah. And Allah is All-Sufficient as Disposer of All affairs.
