An-Nur
قُلۡ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيۡكُم مَّا حُمِّلۡتُمۡۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُوهُ تَهۡتَدُواْۚ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
54Say: “Obey Allah and obey the messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), but if you turn away, then the messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) is respon-sible for only what he is assigned to do and you are responsible for what is placed on you (i.e. accountability of your deeds). Hence, if you obey the messenger, then only you are rightly guided. The messenger’s duty is only to convey (the message) clearly. (Also Surah Ar-Rad:40)
