Ar-Rad
وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡمَثُلَٰتُۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةٖ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلۡمِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ
6And they demand from you [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] to hasten the evil (i.e. punishment) before the good, while many exemplary (punishments) have been inflicted before them. And, indeed, your Creator is full of Forgiveness for mankind in spite of their (inten-tional) wrong-doings. And, indeed, your Creator is also Severe in punishment. (Also Surah Fatir:45)
