About the Surah

       And they did not differ (in religion), till after the (correct) knowledge had reached them, and it was due to their mutual jealousy and stubbornness. If Allah’s Decision had not been there (in advance) for an appointed term (that they shall receive the total punishment in the Hereafter) the matter would have been settled between them. And, indeed, those who inherit the Book (Scriptures) after them, they are in grave doubt about it (i.e. about the Scriptures and the Quran).
