أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ

Or He (Allah) may cause to perish them (the passengers of the ship) because of their (evil) deeds. (In fact) He pardons many (of their sins).
