Ash-Shura
فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُواْ فَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظًاۖ إِنۡ عَلَيۡكَ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُۗ وَإِنَّآ إِذَآ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةٗ فَرِحَ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ كَفُورٞ
48[O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] So if they turn away from you (don’t be grieved), We have not sent you as supervisor over them. Your duty is to convey the message only. And, indeed, when We shower Our Mercy on a person, he is delighted with it, but when an adversity comes due to his deeds, then, indeed, the man becomes highly ungrateful.
