At-Taghabun
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٞ يَهۡدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُواْ وَتَوَلَّواْۖ وَّٱسۡتَغۡنَى ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ
6That was because, their mes-sengers came to them with clear proofs, so they said: “Shall a mere human being guide us? (i.e. can a human being become a mes-senger?).” So they disbelieved and turned away (from the truth). And Allah did not care for them too (and de-prived them of His Mercy). And Allah is All-Rich (free of all needs), Worthy of all Praise.
