At-Taubah
وَأَذَٰنٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَجِّ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ فَإِن تُبۡتُمۡ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمۡ غَيۡرُ مُعۡجِزِي ٱللَّهِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
3And (this is) the announcement to mankind from Allah and His messenger ( may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him ) on the greatest day of Hajj (i.e. the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah - Bukhari 4655) that Allah and His messenger ( may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him ) are free from (all) obligations and commitments to the idolaters. (O idolaters!) So if you repent, it is better for you, and if you turn away, then know that you cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allah. [O Muhammad ( may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him )!] And convey the news of a painful punishment to the disbelievers.
