At-Taubah
۞إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيۡهَا وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةٗ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ
60Zakat is only for the poor, the needy, employees of Zakat fund, and for strengthening the hearts of those who have inclined towards Islam, to free the captives, for those in debt, and for Allah’s Cause, and for a stranded traveller. It is a duty commanded by Allah. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.
