At-Taubah
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَقۡبِضُونَ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
67All hypocrite men and women are alike. They preach people what is bad and forbid them to do good. They keep their hands closed (i.e. they are miser in spending in the Cause of Allah). They have forgotten Allah, so Allah has forgotten them too (i.e. they are deprived of Allah’s Mercy). Indeed, the hypocrites are disobedient to Allah.
