At-Taubah
فَرِحَ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقۡعَدِهِمۡ خِلَٰفَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوٓاْ أَن يُجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَنفِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡحَرِّۗ قُلۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرّٗاۚ لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَفۡقَهُونَ
81[After the departure of Prophet Muhammad ( may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him ) for the Tabuk expedition], the left behind non-participants were jubilant about their staying behind, and they disliked to fight hard in the Path of Allah with their wealth and lives. And they said: “Don’t go out in the heat.” Say: “The Hell-Fire has more intense heat”, if only they could understand!
