About the Surah

       (Quraish of Makkah said: “If the Quran was in a foreign language, it would be a miracle of the Quran,” as mentioned in Dur-al- Manthur). And if We had sent this Quran in a foreign language (other than Arabic), they would have said: “Why are not its Verses explained in detail (in Arabic)? Why a non-Arabic (Book) for an Arab (messenger)?” Say: “The Quran is guidance and has a healing effect for the believers. And the disbelievers have deafness in their ears regarding the Quran and (for this reason), the Quran has blindness towards the disbelievers. They are like those who are called from a distant place (so they somewhat hear it but don’t understand it).”
