Ibrahim
وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ
44[O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] And warn the people about the Day when the torment will come to them, so the wrong-doers will say: “Our Creator! (Please) postpone it for a short while, so that we may accept Your preaching and we may obey Your messengers.” (It will be said): “Did you not swear before that (the enjoyment of) the worldly life will not decrease for you (and there is no Hereafter)?
