فَمَا زَالَت تِّلۡكَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ

So they kept uttering this (i.e. they confessed their wrong-doing), till We made them (like a) reaped harvest and extinguished fire).
