Al-Anbiya
بَلۡ مَتَّعۡنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۗ أَفَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَنَّا نَأۡتِي ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَآۚ أَفَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
44In fact, We gave the comforts of this life to them and to their forefathers for a long period of their lives. (Does it mean that they followed the truth? Not at all). Don’t they see that We are gradually reducing the land (under the control of the disbelievers) from its outlying borders? Do they still have the upper hand? (Not at all).
