Al-Anbiya
وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَت تَّعۡمَلُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٖ فَٰسِقِينَ
74And We gave Lut ( ) wis-dom and (religious) knowledge (be-fitting the level of the Prophets) and rescued him from the community which was engaged in filthy activi-ties. Residents of this community were, indeed, the worst sinners.
