Al-Anfal
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
31And (the mentality of dis-believers is such that) When Our revelations are recited in their presence they say: “We have heard (the recitation of the Quran), if we wish we can recite similar sentences. Indeed, these are only ancient tales.”
