Al-Araf
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأۡوِيلَهُۥۚ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِي تَأۡوِيلُهُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبۡلُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشۡفَعُواْ لَنَآ أَوۡ نُرَدُّ فَنَعۡمَلَ غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ قَدۡ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ
53Are they waiting for the final result (i.e. promise of punishment as described by the Quran)? The Day this event takes place, those who neglected it before will say: “Indeed, the messengers of our Creator did come with truth. Are there any intercessors for us that they may intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back so that we might do other deeds than those which we used to do?” They have pushed themselves in loss and that which they used to fabricate will disappear from them.
