About the Surah

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Say: “I seek refuge with Allah, the Creator of the daybreak,  (i.e. I put my trust in Allah),

From the evil of what He has created,

And from the evil of darkness of the night when its darkness spreads,

And from the evil of those who blow in the knots (to practice witchcraft),

And from the evil of the jealous person when he acts jealously.”
