Al-Fath
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّوكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ وَٱلۡهَدۡيَ مَعۡكُوفًا أَن يَبۡلُغَ مَحِلَّهُۥۚ وَلَوۡلَا رِجَالٞ مُّؤۡمِنُونَ وَنِسَآءٞ مُّؤۡمِنَٰتٞ لَّمۡ تَعۡلَمُوهُمۡ أَن تَطَُٔوهُمۡ فَتُصِيبَكُم مِّنۡهُم مَّعَرَّةُۢ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۖ لِّيُدۡخِلَ ٱللَّهُ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ لَوۡ تَزَيَّلُواْ لَعَذَّبۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
25They are those who disbelieved and hindered you from reaching Masjid al-Haram (in Makkah) and also did not let the animals of sacrifice reach the place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and women (in Makkah) whom you did not know, lest they be crushed (in the battle) which would have caused you harm unknowingly (you would have been given permission to fight the idolaters of Makkah). (But it was not allowed) so that Allah might admit into His Mercy whom He wills. If (the believers and disbelievers of Makkah) were residing separately, We would have punished the disbelievers (from them) with a painful torment.
