About the Surah

       Indeed, We did send down Taurat [to Musa ()] in which was guidance (for true faith) and light (for the practice of this guidance). Many Prophets, who were totally submissive to Allah, and the rabbis, and the priests judged for the Jews with the commands in Taurat. They were entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book, and they were witness of this responsibility. Hence (O Jews), don’t fear people, fear Me Alone, and don’t sell My Verses for petty gains. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down, such are the (true) disbelievers.
