About the Surah

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Have We not opened your breast (i.e. heart) for you [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!]? (Also see Surah Al-Anam:125).

 And have We not removed from you your burden,

Which weighed down your back?

And have We not raised your fame high?

(Just like We gave you spiritual comfort, there shall be worldly comfort for you too). So, indeed, along with every hardship there is relief.

(Since hardships are of many kinds. Hence, this assurance is repeated.) Indeed, along with every hardship there is relief.

       Hence, when you are free, then put great effort in worshipping (i.e. in Salat, supplication, propagation of Islam, Jihad etc.) till you feel tired.  (Hence, Islamic preachers should also engage themselves in remembrance of Allah in private hours. Just preaching others is not enough).

And set your heart to your Creator only (for all your needs and aspirations).
