At-Taubah
كَيۡفَ يَكُونُ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ عَهۡدٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِۖ فَمَا ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَقِيمُواْ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
7How can there be a treaty with Allah and His messenger for idolaters of Makkah (the first group who broke the treaty) except those with whom you made a promise near Masjid-al-Haram (the second group)? So as long as they adhere to it, you abide by it too. Indeed, Allah loves the pious persons.
