Qaf
وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا فَنَقَّبُواْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
36And We have destroyed many communities before them who were stronger in power (than the idolaters of Makkah). They used to travel from city to city (to strengthen their economic means. But when Our torment came) they had no ref-uge to go to. (Hence, they could not escape Our punishment.)
