وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡيَاكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٞ 66

66        It is He, who gave you life, and then will cause you to die, and will again give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). (You should have been thankful for these favours). Man is, indeed, very ungrateful.

لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٖ جَعَلۡنَا مَنسَكًا هُمۡ نَاسِكُوهُۖ فَلَا يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِۚ وَٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدٗى مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ 67

67        We have fixed a method of worship for every nation which they follow. Hence, let them not (the pagans) dispute with you about the matter. [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)] you invite them to (the Path of) your Creator. Indeed, you are on the (true) straight guidance.

وَإِن جَٰدَلُوكَ فَقُلِ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ 68

68        And if they continue arguing with you (regarding the slaughtering of sacrifices), say: “Allah knows best of what you do.

ٱللَّهُ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ 69

69        “Allah will judge between all of you on the Day of Resurrection about that which you used to differ.”

أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ فِي كِتَٰبٍۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ 70

70        Don’t you know that Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on the earth? Indeed, it is all in the Book (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz). Indeed, it (judging) is very easy for Allah.

وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنٗا وَمَا لَيۡسَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞۗ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٖ 71

71        And they worship others besides Allah, for which Allah has sent no authority and regarding which they have no knowledge. And for the wrong-doers there is no helper. 

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسۡطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَاۗ قُلۡ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرّٖ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُۚ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ 72

72        And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, you will see a denial on the faces of the disbelievers. It appears that they are about to attack those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: “Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised for the disbelievers and evil is that destination!”

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٞ فَٱسۡتَمِعُواْ لَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخۡلُقُواْ ذُبَابٗا وَلَوِ ٱجۡتَمَعُواْ لَهُۥۖ وَإِن يَسۡلُبۡهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَيۡ‍ٔٗا لَّا يَسۡتَنقِذُوهُ مِنۡهُۚ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلۡمَطۡلُوبُ 73

73        O mankind! An example is being described, so listen to it (carefully). Indeed, those whom you call besides Allah cannot create a fly, even though they get together for it. And if a fly snatches away something from them, they cannot recover this thing from the fly. So very weak and helpless are (both) the seeker and the sought.

مَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ 74

74        They did not value Allah (His Power, Majesty etc.) as it should be valued. (Hence, they made partners with Him). Indeed, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty.

ٱللَّهُ يَصۡطَفِي مِنَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعُۢ بَصِيرٞ 75

75        Allah chooses messengers from the angels and from men. In-deed, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.

يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ 76

76        He knows what is in front of them and what is behind them. (Hence, knowing their present conditions is easier). And all matters return to Allah (for decision).

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱرۡكَعُواْ وَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ وَٱعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ وَٱفۡعَلُواْ ٱلۡخَيۡرَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ۩ 77

77        O you who have believed! (Perform Salat regularly). Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Creator and always perform good deeds so that you may be successful.

وَجَٰهِدُواْ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦۚ هُوَ ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ مِنۡ حَرَجٖۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمۡ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَفِي هَٰذَا لِيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِۚ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ 78

78        And strive hard in Allah’s Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity). He has chosen you (to convey His Message) and He has not put any hardship for you in the religion. It is the religion of your father Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) . It is He (Allah) who named you Muslims both before and in this Quran, so that Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind. Hence perform Salat and give the poor-due and (also in other affairs) hold fast to Allah. Since He is your Patron, hence what an excellent Patron and what an excellent Helper!

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ 1

1        The believers have, indeed, attained the success.

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ 2

2        Those who offer their Salat humbly.

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ 3

3        And those who turn away from vain talk.

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَٰعِلُونَ 4

4        And those who pay the poor-due.

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ 5

5        And those who guard their chastity.

إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ 6

6        Except from their wives and from those slaves whom they possess (according to the Islamic law), so there is no blame on them.

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ 7

7        Hence, whoever seeks (sexual satisfaction) beyond that, then those are the transgressors.
