Ya-Sin
قُلۡ يُحۡيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيمٌ
79[O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] Say: “He Who gave life to them the first time, will give life to them again. And He is All-Knower of every creation.”
79The reason for descending the verse
The commentators of the Qur’an said, “Ubayy ibn Khalaf went to the Prophet (s.a.w) with a decayed bone and said to him, ‘O Muhammad, do you think that Allah will bring back to life this decayed bone?’ He said, ‘Yes, He will, and He will also resurrect you and cast you in hellfire’. Allah then revealed these verses.” (Al-Wahidi,Reasons of Revelation)
