Ayah number : 120
120 Verily Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) was a great leader, totally and sincerely submissive to Allah. And he was not from the idolaters.
Ayah number : 121
121 He was thankful for His (Allah’s) Favours. He (Allah) chose him (as His friend) and guided him to a Straight Path.
Ayah number : 122
122 And We bestowed upon him goodness (i.e. Prophethood, guidance etc) in this world and he will definitely be among the righteous people in the Hereafter.
Ayah number : 123
123 Then, We sent the revelations to you [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!], saying: “Follow the straight and true religion of Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) to One God and he was not of the idolaters.”
Ayah number : 124
124 The respect of Saturday (the Sabbath) was prescribed for only those who differed concerning it. And, indeed, your Creator will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that in which they used to differ.
Ayah number : 125
125 [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] Invite (people) to the Path of your Creator with wisdom and beautiful preaching and debate with them with a good approach. Indeed, your Creator knows best who has gone astray from His Path and He knows best those who are guided.
Ayah number : 126
126 And if you take revenge, then take only equal to the hardship inflicted upon you. But if you remain patient, it is better for the patient people. (Since it will leave better effect on the enemy, and on the on-looker, and will also earn good reward in the Hereafter).
Ayah number : 127
127 [Due to the very high character of Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), Allah has advised him not to take revenge, but rather be patient] [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] Be patient. You cannot be patient without the help of Allah. Don’t be sad about them (for their disbelief or for their torturing the believers). Don’t feel distressed (in your heart) for the plots they hatch.
Ayah number : 128
128 Indeed, Allah is with those people who are righteous and those who are good-doers.

Ayah number : 1
1 Glorified (and Exalted) is Allah Who took his slave [Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)] for a journey by night from Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) to Masjid-al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem), whose neighbourhood We have blessed (religious blessing is that there are many Prophets buried there, and worldly blessing is that it has very fertile land), to show him Our various signs. [e.g. (i) to travel long distance in very short time (ii) meeting previous Prophets (iii) talking to these Prophets (iv) travelling to various skies and observing extraordinary signs of Allah]. Indeed, Allah is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer [i.e. Allah heard Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and saw the circumstances surrounding him. Accordingly, Allah honoured him with this unique journey and bes-towed upon him nearness to Him.]
Ayah number : 2
2 And We gave Musa ( peace be upon him ) the Scripture and made it a means of guidance for the Children of Israel (saying:) “Don’t take any protector besides Me.
Ayah number : 3
3 “O you children of those whom We carried or saved (in the boat) with Nuh ( peace be upon him ) (do not forget Our Favour). Indeed, he [Nuh ( peace be upon him ) ] was a very grateful slave [so you should also become grateful slaves like your forefather Nuh ( peace be upon him ) ].”
Ayah number : 4
4 And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture that you would definitely spread mischief (by committing sins) in the land (Syria) twice and you would become big tyrants [totally ignoring the rights of Allah and rights of the people, first time by their opposition to the code of conduct of Musa ( peace be upon him ) , second time by opposition to the code of conduct of Isa ( peace be upon him ) and both times you will be punished].
Ayah number : 5
5 So when Our first of the two promises came, We sent Our slaves who were great warriors and they entered even the innermost parts of your homes (and they killed most of you). And (Allah’s) promise was, indeed, fulfilled.
Ayah number : 6
6 Then (when you repented) We dominated you on them (through some other nation). We returned your old (good) days and helped you with wealth and children and made your group (and your supporters) greater in number (and manpower).
Ayah number : 7
7 (It was also written in this Book that) if you do good deeds, it will benefit you (in Here and in the Hereafter) and if you do evil, it will be to your own loss (and you will be punished, that’s what exactly happened). So when the second promise came [when you opposed the code of conduct of Isa ( peace be upon him ) , We made others dominate you] so that they disgrace your faces and enter Masjid-al-Aqsa as they had entered first time and they totally destroyed all that they took control of.
Ayah number : 8
8 [It was also written that if you keep away from mischief and obey Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)] then it is very likely (rather it is a promise) that Allah will show mercy to you (i.e. you will regain your respect in this world). But if you revert (to sins), We shall revert (to Our punishment). [Jews did oppose Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) tooth and nail, and were killed and disgraced in this world], and We have made Hell as a prison for the disbelievers (in the Hereafter).
Ayah number : 9
9 Indeed, this Quran guides to the Path which is Straight (i.e. Islam) and conveys glad tidings to the believers, who do righteous deeds, for them is a tremendous reward.
Ayah number : 10
10 And that to those who don’t believe in the Hereafter, there is a painful torment for them.
Ayah number : 11
11 And man makes supplication for evil in the similar manner as for goodness. And mankind is (naturally) hasty.
