Order in Al-Mushaf : 69
Ayah number : 38
فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ 38
38 So I swear by whatsoever you see.
Ayah number : 39
وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ 39
39 And by whatsoever you don’t see (i.e. I swear by all the creatures).
Ayah number : 40
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ 40
40 Indeed, that is (i.e. the Quran), the word (i.e. its recitation is) of an esteemed messenger (i.e. Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), who recites it to you).
Ayah number : 41
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ 41
41 It is not the word of a poet. (Alas) you have very little belief in it!
Ayah number : 42
وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ 42
42 Nor is it the word of a sooth-sayer (or a foreteller). (Alas) you learn very little lesson from it!
Ayah number : 43
تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 43
43 (This Quran is the) revelation sent down from the Creator of the universe.
Ayah number : 44
وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ 44
44 And if he [Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)] had invented a false statement concerning Us,
Ayah number : 45
لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ 45
45 We surely would have seized him by his right hand (or with power),
Ayah number : 46
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ 46
46 And then We certainly would have cut off his life-artery (aorta),
Ayah number : 47
فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَ 47
47 And none of you could have prevented Us from (punishing) him.
Ayah number : 48
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذۡكِرَةٞ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ 48
48 And, indeed, this (i.e. the Quran) is a Reminder for the pious persons.
Ayah number : 49
وَإِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ 49
49 And, indeed, We do know that there are some among you that deny (this Quran).
Ayah number : 50
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ 50
50 And, indeed, this (denial of the Quran) will cause despair for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection).
Ayah number : 51
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ 51
51 And, indeed, this Quran is definitely an absolute truth
Ayah number : 52
فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 52
52 So glorify the Name of your Creator, the Most Great.
Order in Al-Mushaf : 70
Ayah number : 1
سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ 1
1 A questioner asked about the torment which is about to occur
Ayah number : 2
لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ 2
2 Upon the disbelievers, which none can avert
Ayah number : 3
مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ 3
3 From Allah, the Creator of the paths of ascent (or to Whom the angels ascend).
Ayah number : 4
تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ 4
4 The angels and Jibrael ( peace be upon him ) ascend to Him in a Day which is equivalent to fifty thousand years.
Ayah number : 5
فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرٗا جَمِيلًا 5
5 [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] So be patient with good patience (without slightest grumbling).
