إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوۡمًا عَبُوسٗا قَمۡطَرِيرٗا 10

10 “Indeed, we fear from our Creator concerning a Day which will be distressful and very hard (due to its horrors).”

فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةٗ وَسُرُورٗا 11

11 So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day and granted them freshness and happiness.

وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةٗ وَحَرِيرٗا 12

12 Their reward will be Paradise and silken garments due to their patience.

مُّتَّكِ‍ِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِۖ لَا يَرَوۡنَ فِيهَا شَمۡسٗا وَلَا زَمۡهَرِيرٗا 13

13 They will be reclining on couches, and they will not experience (excessive) heat of the sun nor bitter coldness.

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلٗا 14

14 -And the shades (of Paradise) will be closed upon them, and bunches of fruits will hang low and near to them.

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِ‍َٔانِيَةٖ مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖ كَانَتۡ قَوَارِيرَا۠ 15

15 And dishes of silver and crystal cups will be passed around them.

قَوَارِيرَاْ مِن فِضَّةٖ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقۡدِيرٗا 16

16 (Also) crystal made of silver, each (cup) filled appropriately (just enough to satisfy, without any thirst left).

وَيُسۡقَوۡنَ فِيهَا كَأۡسٗا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا 17

17 And they will drink from a cup (of wine) mixed with ginger (which Arabs like a lot).

عَيۡنٗا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلۡسَبِيلٗا 18

18 From a spring (of Paradise) called Salsabil.

۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٗا مَّنثُورٗا 19

19 And they will be served drinks by boys of everlasting youth. (They are so clean and handsome that) if you see them, you would think that they are scattered pearls.

وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيۡتَ نَعِيمٗا وَمُلۡكٗا كَبِيرًا 20

20 And wherever you look (in  Paradise), you will see the Favours of Allah and His great Kingdom.

عَٰلِيَهُمۡ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضۡرٞ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٞۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٖ وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابٗا طَهُورًا 21

21 They will have green garments of fine and thick silk. They will be decorated with bracelets of silver, and their Creator will give them pure drink.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا 22

22 (And it will be said to them): “Indeed, this is your reward and your striving (in the cause of Allah) has been accepted.”

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَنزِيلٗا 23

23 Indeed, We have sent down the Quran to you [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] in stages (or gradually).

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورٗا 24

24 [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] So patiently obey the Command of your Creator and don’t obey a sinner or a disbeliever among them.

وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلٗا 25

25 And remember the Name of your Creator in the morning and in the evening (i.e. offering of Fajr, Zuhr and Asr prayers

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلٗا طَوِيلًا 26

26 And during the night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. offering of Maghrib and Isha Prayers), and glorify Him till late night (in Tahajjud prayer).

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمۡ يَوۡمٗا ثَقِيلٗا 27

27 Indeed, these (disbelievers) love the quick reward of the worldly life, and they ignore a heavy Day (i.e. Day of Judgement).

نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا 28

28 We have created them and made their frame (i.e. joints) strong and sturdy. And when We will, We can replace them with others similar to them.

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلٗا 29

29 Indeed, this (Verse of the Quran) is full of advice, so whosoever wills, he may follow a Path to his Creator.
